Jodie is now 10 and Jessie’s daughter.  She has always been my husbands favorite with her kind sweet nature.  He pats the chair next to him and she just jumps up there and sits with him, eats with him, and watches TV with him, she even sleeps next to him at night.  She is the mother of Jazmine who was her last on only puppy that we kept of hers.  The reason Jazzie was her last is because Jodie had breast cancer so as soon as Jazmine was weaned we had Jodie operated on, she had two breasts removed and was spayed at the same time as the female hormones help the cancer grow.  That was four years ago and she is still fine, thank God.  She is just one of the five retirees that we have who play with and help train all the new puppies before they leave for their new homes.
