Jessie-In Memory

  Jessie

It is with heavy heart that I post this “IN MEMORY” of my beloved Jessie. She was 16 years old, blind, and just about totally deaf. I hoped that she would live forever, she was my constant horse show companion and protector, she went everywhere all over the country with me. She slept beside me every night and kissed my face at every chance she got. To say that we loved each other is an understatement.

Jessie started loosing weight, and her breathing was getting raspy and I knew with the weather getting cold and her being a little incontinent and embarrassing for her, I knew the time was getting close. I made the appointment once in the beginning of October but cancelled it. Last week, almost a month to the day of the first appointment I made another. My dear friend and vet, came to the house and we cried and put Jessie to sleep for the last time. When she was gone the heavens opened up and the rain poured down almost like a sign that she had gone to the Rainbow Bridge. Jessie is buried under the Jackaranda tree with her mother Julie who made it to age 15 and passed on her own while I was gone to a horse show in Texas and our grand daughter was staying here babysitting the doxie’s.

Jessie, you are missed by everyone of your other doxie friends and of coarse by me who loved you most.
