Smooth red (10 lbs) Jamie is now 10 and due to get spayed next month.  She has had five litters of puppies for us and we have kept one of her boys, Jake The Man, and two of her girls, Jackie and Jenny.  Jenny is spayed as she is not a great example of the breed and Jackie is our only long hair, who has never had a long haired puppy.  Jamie is next in line for Alpha but just can’t seem to make it there.  She and Jessie are friends but every once in awhile you’ll see raised hairs and walking on tippy toes but no actual fighting, Thank God.  Jamie has always been a worry warts hence the grey face.  She is also a midwife, when her grand-daughter Jazmine had her pups, Jamie was in the whelping box with her washing the pups and even eating some of the afterbirth and trying to nurse the pups.
